Heritage Revitalization Agreements (HRA’s)
Many residents often reach out to us about Heritage Revitalization Agreements, either as applicants or affected neighbours. The city has a helpful brochure on this subject, which defines what an HRA is and what the application, review and approval process is for them. The RA plays a role in this process, by facilitating community consultation and feedback. The brochure is part of the city’s general Heritage planning & development information page on their web site. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific proposal, please contact us and we’ll try to help.
Filming in Queen’s Park
With so many beautiful heritage buildings and tree-lined streets in our neighbourhood, it’s not wonder that Queen’s Park is such a desirable location for film companies in our region. While the presence of film companies at our doorstep can be exciting, it can also be inconveniencing and frustrating as well. The city has published a fair bit of helpful information about filming on its web site about filming, including a code of conduct for cast a crew members. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific filming event, please contact us and we’ll try to help.
