pushing these new dynamics?
Power management is a vital element in our
vehicles and the reason that users can have a smooth experience without any hiccups. For electrification, power management spans
the extension of battery range to safety monitoring. Meanwhile, in autonomous driving, applications such as radar, sensors and
cameras require power management for optimum performance. Both electric and autonomous cars will be more connected to the rest
of the smart city, and power management can help preserve the various interactions that take place.
Furthermore, the role of power management is intertwined with functional safety across various systems in a car. This was
highlighted further in a recent episode of the

MCU fails or is in what we call a fail-safe situation, the only available device that can bring in verification and put the
system in a safe place is the one connected to the battery, which is the power management”.
